About The Artist

Jeremy Chandler is a Tampa-based artist working in photography who explores issues centering on masculinity, utopian ideals, and the natural environment. In addition to being the 2008 Photographer Laureate for the city of Tampa, Jeremy has been included in numerous group and solo exhibitions including the 23rd edition of New American Talent. He received his BFA from the University of Florida in Creative Photography and his MFA from the University of South Florida. His one-person exhibitions include the American Institute of Architects Gallery, Atlantic Center for the Arts's Harris House Gallery, and Satchel's Gallery. His large-scale photographic work was recently featured in the exhibition Camouflage at the Hagedorn Foundation Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia.
