About The Artist

Once described as beautifully damaged, Mark Mulroney's works demonstrate his mastery of re-contextualizing contemporary culture. Frequently exploring themes of sex and death, Mulroney uses imagery of naked ladies, frightened men, blood, flowers, and comic genitalia arranged on bright backgrounds. All of his work speaks to his simple and concise artist statement: "People don't want to die, and they want to have sex."
