It was established to both support the visual arts and to raise funds for Lincoln Center. Since its inception, the project has commissioned major artists of the time to create works available for sale to the public. Aptly described as a history of the graphic arts in America, works in the Vera List collection have a consistent record of appreciation. With over 125 artists, the Vera List Art Project remains in the forefront of art trends offering works by a who's who of the contemporary art world.
