About Jessica Silverman Gallery
Jessica Silverman Gallery was founded in 2007. It is known for discovering emergent artists in California and bringing them to an international audience as well as introducing foreign artists to the San Francisco Bay Area. The gallery has a strong concept-driven roster that embraces both rigorously abstract and hyper-figurative work.
Works by the gallery's artists have been acquired by museums including MOMA NY, LACMA, SFMOMA, the Hammer Museum, Berkeley Art Museum, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. The gallery has participated in a number of art fairs, including Frieze London, FIAC, NADA, Miami Beach & Cologne, and Dallas Contemporary.
Jessica Silverman is listed in Artinfo's 2012 "Top 30 under 30," a ranking of the top international art professionals under the age of thirty. She sits on the San Francisco Arts Commission.
