    About The Work

In Scott Conarroe's photograph Streetcar Stop, the viewer's eye is drawn first to the city horizon and the concentration of buses and apartment buildings before wandering to the foreground where two figures wait at a bus stop. The eerie nature of the figures—one bathed in green light and the other enshrouded in darkness—turns an ordinary urban scene into a mysterious one.
