Tjorg Douglas Beer

Tjorg Douglas Beer specializes in collage, painting and sculpture. His work explores various social, political and media contexts and he uses these as both literal and contextual inspiration in his practice. Besides his own artistic work, Beer has also been involved in various projects such as “Galerie Im Regierungsviertel Berlin,” The Forgotten Bar,” and the Berlin Kreuzberg Biennale.

His work has been exhibited in galleries and institutions worldwide including the Kunstverein Hamburg, Bremen Museum of Modern Art, Palais de Tokyo Paris, Timothy Taylor Gallery London, Tate Modern London, X-Initiative New York and the Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art Sapporo. Beer has also had numerous solo exhibitions including at the Kunsthaus Hamburg, Kunstraum Innsbruck, Sradsgalerij Heerlen, Contemporary Art Institute Sapporo and Mitchell-Innes &Nash New York.
