Brendan Fowler

Brendan Fowler earned his BFA from Sarah Lawrence College and currently lives in Los Angeles. He is an artist, musician, and coeditor of the free arts magazine ANP Quarterly. As BARR, his "one-person public speaking band," he writes songs, plays concerts, and records albums around reflective, often self-deprecating themes. The more recent performance project Disaster begins as an assessment of its own name in relation to the tones and implications of other band names.
