    About The Work

Dorothy Iannone’s vibrant work derives from her lifetime pursuit of “ecstatic unity” through transcendence and spirituality. Based on a painting of the same name from 1983-84, this scarf is powerfully charged with female sexuality and the rich jewel-like colors of Indian and Byzantine art.
