Mrs. is pleased to announce an auction in partnership with Paddle8 to benefit Hampshire College.  

Over the past year we have seen Hampshire arrive at a difficult financial crossroads. There have been some recent changes in leadership and we feel hopeful about Hampshire’s future at this point. In order to sustain an independent, thriving Hampshire, the primary need at this point is an ambitious fundraising goal. The Hampshire community of alumni, faculty, and friends are pouring all their efforts and money into this project.  We see this is a fantastic opportunity for us as artists and arts professionals to give back, while contributing to the funds Hampshire needs to survive and grow.  

Over 30 artists, each of whom either attended as students or served as faculty at the College, have generously donated their works to be auctioned on Paddle8.  We would like to thank Keliy Anderson-Staley, Elizabeth Atterbury, Math Bass, Larissa Bates, Colleen Blackard, Gideon Bok, Strauss Bourque-Lafrance, William Brayton, Nicole Cohen, E.V. Day, Marc Ganzglass, Sara Greenberger Rafferty, Gordon Hall, Michelle Handelman, Tanja Hollander, Denzil Hurley, Emma Kohlmann, Daniel Kohn, Tyler Lafreniere, Andrea Longacre-White, Kelly McCafferty, Pete Olyer, Elizabeth Orr, Lauren Pakradooni, Matt Phillips, Carly Ries, Em Rooney, Emily Roz, Sara Maria Salamone, the estate of Robert Seydel, Guy Yanai and Wallace Whitney for their contributions.

An online preview will be on view via Paddle8 between June 5- 12.  Bidding will commence at 12pm on June 12. An event showcasing the auction items will be hosted at Mrs. in Queens, on view between June 13 - 15, with a reception on Saturday, June 15 between 5 - 8pm.  The auction will conclude at 5 pm on June 26, 2019.
