    About The Work

For his 2017 solo exhibition at the Wattis, Henrik Olesen created a series of screw paintingsrows of metal screws attached to canvas with hot gluethat challenge the cleanliness and sexlessness of the modernist grid. His works available for purchase are fragments of these dirty, messy canvases made on site at the Wattis.
