    About The Work

In this striking and referential visual dialogue, artists Jonathan Monk and Maurizio Nannucci have a created an homage to Alighiero Boetti’s acclaimed 1967 work Manifesto (Poster). Replacing Boetti’s symbology with updated artists and icons of their own—including the symbols for “greater than” and “less than,” which the artists also used to visually connect their last names for the project—Monk and Nannucci update the conceptual manifesto in large, bright prints of pink, blue and yellow.
