Want to Stay Cool? Then See These 50 Works From Paris Internationale
The scene at Paris Internationale

This year, FIAC was graced with the great joy of a newborn baby sister. Raw but of obvious aristocratic upbringing, with the refined features of a hotel particulier within a stone's throw from the Arc de Triomphe, Paris Internationale is tiny (41 exhibitors, compared to FIAC's 175) yet winningly clever and already oh so much cooler than her big brother. All signs point to a propitious trajectory, and at her birth she was visited by the kindly tutelary spirits of chic young things, Hans Ulrich Obrist and Simon Castets (aka 89plus). The love in the air was warm and palpable. Her cousin Liste should be jealous.

Within the fair itself were some stellar turns from young artists, including a very impressive new direction from Ry Rocklen (whose exquisite craft betrays his years working for Charles Ray), extraordinary paintings by Adam Gordon, and your requisite serving of coy genetalia. Here are (about) 50 of the most interesting works from the fair.
