It was a jam-packed week in the art world, starting with Sunday's launch of a long-awaited exhibition by Julian Schnabel at the Brant Foundation Art Study Center. Then there were openings for the Museum of Modern Art's new survey of work by the German sculptor Isa Genzken, David Smith at Gagosian, Sarah Morris at Friedrich Petzel, and Richard Prince at Nahmad Contemporary. Plus, the many, many parties: Creative Time threw its Fall Ball, the Dia Art Foundation hosted Matmos at its annual gala, Restoration Hardware held a party for its new contemporary art gallery in Chelsea, and much more. See it all in the slideshow above.
