As the post-Labor Day fall frenzy approaches, we took some time in this last week of August to visit some shows that the widely acclaimed California Conceptualism show at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, the excellent exhibitions at the Studio Museum in Harlem, and gallery shows featuring the work of Franz West, Martin Kippenberger, Enoc Perez, and others. Plus, we said goodbye to Orly Genger's Red, Yellow, and Blue rope-waves in Madison Square Park, and took a look ahead at some new art underway at the Bushwick studios of Emilio Perez and Kevin Lips
