    About The Work

Known for his humorous repurposing of everyday objects in uncommon materials, Adam McEwan has made graphite sculptures part of his repertoire since 2007. From water fountains, to credit cards, to soy sauce bottles, McEwen’s graphite objects subtly upend our expectations– in the case of his reinterpreted chocolate bar, the effect is especially ironic.
