About The Work

Mur du son is an original composition created in 1991 by Bernar Venet, in which he recorded the jet engines of a Concord. Here, it is presented as a musical partition of which one part is covered in black wax pencil. For the first time, this art work is presented in its whole. It is accompanied by the hand written poem "Black and Black" written by the artist in 1963. A sound record on a CD il also attached to the edition.
