    About The Work

Primarily a street artist, Barry McGee infuses elements of graffiti with the modes of contemporary art. For his 2013 retrospective at ICA Boston, the artist collaborated Brooklyn-based The Hill-Side to create specially designed bandanas, that reference the museum, McGee's classic characters, and even the city's late literary champion David Foster Wallace.
