    Hockney's set designs for Richard Strauss's opera Die Frau Ohne Schatten were first seen at the LA Music Center in 1993 when this poster was printed. The title is proclaimed in Hockney's unmistakable writing and the image gives you a sense of the magical qualities of his set design.
