    About The Work

In each of Kerry Tribe’s works, the relationship of memory to time is articulated through specific formal approaches. Here, a detailed interior image has been taken from The Last Soviet, a film that reenacts historical events and draws upon the documentary format so as to examine how shared memories are periodically reconstructed as an aggregate of subjective voices, each memory vulnerable not only to time but to the particularities of language, translation, and visual correlation.
