    About The Work

In Sleeping Beauty Without The Castles, Amer overlays the image of Sleeping Beauty on her horse with the image of two female lovers engaged in the act of pleasuring themselves. The title seems to imply that in Amer's work, the princess is released from the confines of her castle (where she must perform domestic roles), and allowed to break free from her restraints by exploring her sexuality.
