    The digital print Girl With Peacock 1 by Kezban Arca Batibeki takes the point of view of the buxom female figure surveying her luxurious surroundings, where a peacock grazes nearby the palm-tree-fringed facade. The artist says of her subject matter, "I’m fascinated by [Turkish women’s] trivial preoccupations, which to them are the crux of...existence,...the dieting, the waiting, and the gossip sessions, and it is these activities that have found their way to my [work].”
