About The Work

Extremely scarce, charming handwritten and hand signed letter by Keith Haring. legendary American Pop and Graffiti Artist and Activist. One page, handwritten autographed letter, signed on his personal printed stationery, to Merrill and students. Haring accepts the invitation to visit his correspondents´ school and states, "I am going to Brasil (sic) in February. Please call me so we can see if it is possible.´ A bold black ink letter, in capitals, in Haring´s hand. Haring died at the early age of only 31 of AIDS-related complications, so it is extremely uncommon to find such a charming, handwritten piece of correspondence extant.
