About The Work

Color offset lithograph printed on the occasion of Haring's famous exhibition at the Shafrazi Gallery from December 1988 to January 1989. The image depicted in the poster is a one of a kind printed photo-collage of the artist as a baby, in a bubble about to burst (Haring was diagnosed with AIDS the very same year). In addition, the work is exceptionally, hand signed, dated, 1988 inscribed "J" (for Jo Bartner) and with an original ink drawing of a radiant baby.
