Since the first iteration of Phaidon’s Vitamin P back in 2002, the series has provided a unique service to art lovers worldwide: an exhaustive, expert-nominated profile of the most important painters working today. As we’ve previously noted, the books have served as a prescient who’s who of contemporary painting, with many of the brightest lights of the medium being featured just before their big break on the international stage.
Now, some 14 years after the publication of the original book, the series is back with its latest edition: Vitamin P3. Here’s our exclusive first look at the 108 painters who made it into the book. Rest assured—this won’t be the last you hear of them.
